Red sky

You see the storm crushing in
Are ready to win
No more hiding in plain sight
They can detect the fear inside

It's your moment to glow
Not just time to let them know
Cut the rope
Burn the cords

Feel my anchor weighing down
I see your ship flying high
Don't you know
Can't you see
Feel the energy come surging from within
As we rise higher to sky
I finally hear the cry

Flying Pianos

Pianos floating in the sky

Memories die inside

Reflections only show the only haunting you'll ever know

Hear the howling from within

Then you know its time to begin

Can you fell the tremors

Slowly sinking,

Endlessly awakening

It's time to rise

Shield's up

This is your last life

Hear the melody

Like a crushing wind

Consuming all who dare and hide

The sirens closing in

Enemy creeps within

It's already begun

Closed of in the middle ready to run

PONDERING

I'm aware of the damnation
A slimmer into your salvation
So can you really make this condemnation
To a cycle of arbitration

It's killing
This chilling
Amazing thrilling
Positively fulfilling
Rendered high to the ceiling
Constantly demeaning
This willing drilling feeling

Always ever green
Sometimes often mean
Almost rarely seen
Feels like a dorsal fin
Stuck on a fish trying to win
Swimming swiftly in

This force
With no remorse
Striving to get off this course
Like a jumping horse
Stronger like a native Norse

Excited with so much glee
To blind to see
It's staring at me
Was it worth the fee
They'll ask and ponder thee
And when'll it be free

You just have to wait for your moment
Away from the torment
And leave no comment

Destiny

Take me back to the night we met
all the magic and rush of adrenaline
Remember when just a smile used to calm both our hearts
And it was the world in its orbit with us floating around it

You can't pretend to show me your wicked ways
Because I taught you all that you know
Used to be the only one to set my heart ablaze
Now you think you're too complicated to care
such a puzzle an unexplainable maze

Behind all this brick and stone walls
I feel all our happy memories are trapped
I hanging by this thread and i feel like a fool
Just like an open target in a field of blood thirsty vultures

Sitting in a puddle of tears
I can't reflect, i'm really drowning this time
I'd be happy if i could still remember how to move my lips
Go ahead ring all the bells and whistles
It's curtain call time and your show is far from concluding

Like the rusty old bridge between our hearts
I'll try one last time and breathe again
How about you?

Bright Orange Cape

Okay so i realized i basically have taken ages without actually writing down something which in my book is odd. Here goes.............
                                                                                 *

He stood at the edge in his bright orange cape
Staring and contemplating what the next stage would be
He fancied himself a hero with a misunderstood artistic perception of life
Always trying to stand out and get respect he knew not what to do with
Never following orders and trying to live outside the borders
Seeing the easy way out made him chipper and excited
For he saw this as an opportunity for his time to rise

As the cold chilling wind passes through the mountains unto the plains
We all recall and ponder that this tale is as puzzling as the subject
That was years ago when all that was complicated is much irrelevant in existence
For the man in the funny orange cape got his final wish & seen by the masses
Fly he did and soar to the heavens as he dreamed
Leaving only that bright orange cape as a remembrance of him

Memories

Memories embrace like old mistresses
Hugging and gliding with familiarity
Real and pure vision is difficult to glimpse of
For darkness always hides and reflects it from our gaze

Again

So whatever path we choose to take
There'll be highs and lows the same
We never run from our mistakes
the harder we fall
the harder we learn to try again
