As it creeps ...

an expected force

piercing emotion

rising from within

leaving you to swirl in confusion

you always think and feel

that you are wiser

that you will predict

overcome

out-will

this pain and discomfort

not ready to let go
am i really missing you
or is it these illusions
of a happy ever after
drowning and haunting me
i may never the sound
echoing loud in my heart
bouncing of the walls
into my head

so please don't say what

you know i can't forgive you for

something i can't ever take back

don't forget we are all human

so silence is never a bad thing

when you aren't sure of your response
